A friend and I are flying to Boston tomorrow for Game 6, Do you think we should buy online (Standing Room Only going for $700 per) or try to buy on the street tomorrow when we get there??

Surely you can do better than that at the stadium.

Just heard on the radio that the average ticket on sites like Stubhub is $1800.

Somebody bought two on the first row behind home plate for 24k. Keep in mind there aren't many people in Boston who were alive the last time they clinched a World Series at home in 1918.

I know someone who paid $1100 outside the stadium for game 2 in '04.

This is Game 6, not Game 2.
At home.
9 years later.

I'd pay the $700 in a heartbeat.

Stubhub hour before the game.

/thread

If you do panic and pay $700 for a terrible standing ticket do yourself a favor and don't check stubhub an hour before the game because you'll feel sick when you see good seats at $400 a pop and it will ruin your night.

If only they were playing in Philly, you could find the underground tunnel into the stadium..

Check out Ace Ticket. They are based out of Boston and have an office a block from Fenway.

If you can get in for $700 just grab those seats, be careful and good luck I am a season ticket holder (already sold mine) so I sell a shitload of sox tickets. If you want to wait it out...
- Stubhub shuts down 2 hrs before gametime and prices will drop so watch for that.
- ACE TIckets will drop tickets after the game starts but I doubt they will have many left
- The best place to buy scalped seats are over near Kenmore Square by the park. There is a mcdonalds, ACE tickets, dunkin donuts etc and a lot of scalpers will be there. Wait until the game starts and go there
