I'm assuming now is time to sell high on Stacy assuming you are fine at the RB spot. That being said, what is the board's opinion on Stacy's trade ceiling?

I was offered Jeffrey for Stacy straight up and was wondering if I could get any higher.

PPR league for this hypothetical.

Better get it in before the XRay results are made public.

I think at this point a healthy Stacy warrants more than Alshon. Alshon isn't that good.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for Stacy. We will know more later today I guess.

I would rather keep Stacy, and I do not even think he is very good.

seems about that range for him in a ppr, likely get back a WR3 for him, maybe a WR2 if the other team is desperate for a rb

See here is my issue with the perception of Stacy. Of course this all depends on if he is healthy, but if so he will get 90% of the carries. There arent many RBs in the league that get that kind of workload. And there are only 2-3 RBs that dont get that kind of workload that id rather have. So that still probably puts him in the top 15 discussion.

The only similar workloads are

Lacy
McCoy
Charles
Adrian Peterson

But he is obviously A. not as good as those and B. not on/in as good a team/offense. But I would still say he is a very viable RB2. He wont win you the league, but he is a solid starter in what is looking like a clusterfrick of a season at RB fantasy wise.

Just traded him away because of his brutal schedule and no QB... the way he attacked Seattle's D... I am starting to regret it, but his injury makes it a little easier to accept.

Was it a straight up trade or package deal?

Wasn't he in the game on the last play? Doubt his ankle is anything serious.

I imagine it was just as a decoy.

It seems he was being used as a decoy more than anything. I think if he was good they probably would have ran him on that last play. Those coaches last night seemed like fools though, so who knows.

Not much of a decoy when you split him out wide to just take up a defender.

To use a non-passing catching RB as a decoy split left defies the definition of "decoy."

To use him as a decoy, they would have Play actioned off a run up the middle/tackle.

If anything he probably ran less hard split left than he would have jumping through the middle of the D. I have no idea what to think about with his ankle. It seemed unnecessary to put him out there on 4th down if you're going to split him wide, which makes me hope his ankle is alright.

They didn't "need" him on the play.

ETA: I guess him in there at RB might have changed the personnel that Seattle put out there over using Richardson, which would pretty much guarantee a throw play, but again, splitting Stacy wide tipped them off anyways. So maybe it was just to make sure an extra linebacker/DL was in there over a DB?

shite I don't know. It was a dumb move. If he actually would have ran I'd have confidence his injury isn't too bad. But more than anything he seemed to be in there to take up space. Decoy is a bad word to use here.

I dont.

Guys who are going to get 90%+ of a teams carries are very ownable and startable. Like I said, their talent levels vary and one may win you the league while the other is just a RB2.
