Watch:
Seasons 1-4
Last few minutes of the last episode of season 6
Season 7

Ignore the rest.

I began watching the series in the summer but after the fourth-season finale, I haven't watched a single minute of it.

Instant or disc only? I watched the first three seasons when it was disc only. Then a disc sat on my counter for months so I returned it and cancelled my disc subscription. Would like to resume watching it but it ain't gonna happen if I have to mail discs.

Hopefully part of the deal is that Netflix subscribers get a different season eight.

I was lucky enough to see how stupid this show was during the first season.

My Christmas wish for you is that someone at Netflix headquarters goes absolutely berzerk at the Christmas/New Years party and goes to fricking town on the server room with a sledgehammer on Dec 31st.

not worth it at the end... I never saw the last season because the second to last season was getting progressively worse

Words cannot express how bad the last season was.

The second season was greatness, though.

weren't the first couple of seasons on Netflix when they first released the streaming feature?

I am 4 episodes in and I am not sold yet. Does it pick up and should I continue or move onto Fringe?

It's get more interesting and picks up as a show, yes.

Does the terrible acting pick up along with the sometimes corny moments? No, unfortunately not. Haven't met a supporting cast of characters I have despised more than the lot on Dexter. Especially Deb. She sucks.

Surprising to see so much bashing in here. The first four seasons are some of the best TV out there. Seasons after that went downhill and the ending was baffling, but it doesn't mean the show was never good.
