If Saban wasn't coaching then Les Miles would be talked about in terms of one of the best coaches in the country let alone in LSU history.

The problem is Les is constantly being compared to the best coach of all time, possibly.

In before the douches who would say, "but Saban is coaching". You just don't understand the point and never will.

Geaux!

Andy Roddick would have been a legend if it wasn't for Roger Federer

I don't think so. The brain dead idiots that come here every day to attack Les would still be doing it. They would just be using something else.

The problem is Saban is in our division and conference. He and Bama are in direct competition with LSU. His success directly impacts LSU.

Sorry, but no he wouldnt.

Miles has 1 of the best win percentages in the nation, yet theres a lot of coaches that are better than Miles, not just Saban.

Saban made LSU, and LSU made Miles. A lot of people will disagree and rant about that statement, but its true. If Miles didnt go to LSU, he would be seen as an average coach. Just like he was at Oklahoma St.

Doesnt mean hes not a good coach though. But Miles will never be mentioned as 1 of the best coaches in the country. And its just because hes not 1 of the best. Hes good. But not 1 of the best.

Since they are both fine coaches and both have aided my LSU to reach highs I honestly never expected to ever reach after following LSU for 3 adults decades, the only comparison I care bout is the one which found Nick seeking to leave LSU and Miles seeking to remain at LSU.

Saban didnt come into a situation where he had no talent to work with and turned them into something spectacular. He was an improvement and is a great x and o coach. But he's not what some of our fans try to make him seem to be.

We lost less than 3 games once under Saban. Once.

Miles is a great recruiter and coach and we're lucky to have him.

Not the point. How many schools have more than 2?
