Who can we hire that is better than Miles?

Ok, I'm not advocating firing Miles... yet.... but this stupid argument needs to stop.
Let me remind you ranters of a little something... Neither Saban nor Miles were ANYTHING before they got to LSU. Both were very average coaches at major programs within major conferences. That was the formula that the athletic dept used for hiring these guys and it worked. The idea being LSU offers more in the way of talent and resources that will make these coaches better. It worked.
So, really the question isn't "Who is a better coach than Miles right now, it's who would be a better coach than Miles if they had the resources of an LSU?"
The answer, is many more than you'd think.

Doesn't matter, no one posting on here wanting him gone will pony up the money to buy him out.

Give it up man. Miles is here for a long time and I know how much that bothers some of you but you can't do anything about it.

You misread me, I'm not for replacing Miles. I rather enjoy the stability of the program, but if it comes down to it and it must be done then the "who is better than Miles" argument is a very weak one.

Can you imagine an Art Briles with AJ10, LF, Malachi Dupre, Speedy Noil, and Trey Quinn.... Unstoppable

He should run the program and focus on recruiting and let his assistants design plans for the games.

screw your formula. there is no such thing as a FORMULA to pick a successful HC much less one that is gonna be better than miles. when a school needs to hire a coach they can go 3 ways; hire a successful co-ordinator and give him the shot at HC, hire a successful HC from another school, or hire the "super star" from a big school or the pro's.
to say that LSU's resourses is gonna make any hire a success is not correct. not success as defined by people on here. NC or bust. saban is the only coach meeting that expectation and frankly he has only been at that pinnacle for about 3 or 4 years in hs career. there are 10-15 more programs in the country with resourses as good as LSU.

But..but..but..the rant says that Chief needs to be fired because he is too old and that his scheme is old fashioned and that Cameron needs to be fired because his schemes aren't getting the job done because they (1) emphasize the pass too much and (2) because they run too much.
So after getting all of the sage advice from the pero-chem break room savants that post here, who would run the team?
Posted on 10/27/13 at 1:12 pm to mytigger
there are least 40 coaches I would rather have coaching the team...but not many will recruit better than Les

40....really? Can you even name 40 coaches?
Let's hear them
Jesus himself could be the coach and some of you people would still be unsatisfied!!!!
