I know that Jennings is our backup QB and he has seen very little action.Rivers in the meantime has never been on the field.All through spring practice,Miles said how well he was progressing and than in fall practice same thing.What's up.He's paid his dues and should have an opportunity to play some.Just commenting.Won't make any difference.

Les barely plays the 2nd string QB. Why would you expect him to play the 3rd stringer? When was the last time Les played a 3rd string QB?

I guess Rivers just isn't the guy for the job. Too bad it takes our QBs three frickin years to learn the system. Somehow other teams break in a new QB every other year without a hiccup.

When are people gonna learn Miles saying something doesn't mean it actually is?? Miles saying Rivers is progressing could mean he's progressing, or it could mean he was asked a question about him and he isn't gonna say "no, he sucks".
Also, Rivers has been on the field, just not this year. Didn't know if you meant 'at all' or this year only.
If Jennings won the back up spot, (which is evident, he did), WTF do you mean Rivers "should have an opportunity"?? He had one...he lost the back up spot. Frick our fans sometimes.

He had some decent stats in the Spring game, but its been clear that Jennings is ahead of him, so there really is no chance he sees the field, unless injuries mount. He was a project coming in, and as he fills out that frame, he might be a late bloomer...Just hard to see him make that jump, but he knows the Offense, and can be a good game-manager, if needed...

I think Jimmy Welker took a knee on the last play of the game once. If I were him I would have checked out of the Victory formation and thrown it deep, I'd been kicked off the team, but big deal!!!
