Best place to buy sausage between BR and Hammond

Tomorrow I'll be driving from BR to Memphis. Supposed to bring some andouille and maybe boudin with me. Don't really want to backtrack to Bergeron's. Any suggestions for a good place to get some maybe in Denham or Hammond? Anywhere along I-12 before 55 is good!

Just past i55 at the Airport Road exit (4 miles max), right by the Chevron truck stop is a new meats restaurant. Great boudin, haven't tried the sausages yet.
