I'm looking for a recoil pad for my savage model 111 30-06. Can anyone recommend a website or store in Baton Rouge area?
Also I'm looking for a bipod for it also.
I need suggestions. Please help.

I've requested to move to Outdoor Board.
Sorry. I don't post here much.

Go to limbsaver's website and search your gun's make/model. Take the serial number for that part to amazon or eBay. You're welcome.

bleedpg,
Don't live in BR so can't help you w/ a store rec. As far as a recoil pad, if I'm looking for recoil reduction, I use Limbsaver or Kick-Eze. Just search the web for the best price. It's not a hard job to do yourself if you want to. As far as bipods, I've always used Harris bipods or one of the Chinese knock-off, including Caldwell and NcStar. Of the 5 or 6 bipods I have, only one is a Harris, The last knock off I bought was 2 1/2 years ago and came from Amazon. It's done well on two high volume varmint hunting trips (ground squirrels and prairie dogs). If you're going to use the bipod for shooting off the bench, get a shorter model. Only one of my bipods has the pivot/leveling feature. I'm not yet convinced I really like the feature.
