Heard a writer from Birmingham before the season on a radio sports show in Biloxi say that he feels Bama will lose two games this year. What if LSU and Auburn both beat Bama?

Then the writer will have been correct. Another pointless thread.

Yea, I wonder if anything has changed from the offseason til now to perhaps alter his prediction? Or maybe sports writers in Biloxi can see the unpredictable future.

A soft east schedule, aTm having zero D, LSU having zero D, VT having zero O...there's really no reason Bama should be challenged until Mizzou in the SECCG

The writer is based out of Birmingham. Doug Segrest is his name.

Than Auburn wins the West unless they drop their game to Georgia later in the year.

That writer? He didn't bet a nickel on that prediction. I'd bet money on that.

If that happened, then you'd want to stay on the Tiger Rant. The last thing LSU needs is to "get help" to win the division. While it's possible that Alabama may drop a game, I find it improbable that they'll lose to LSU and Auburn. LSU has a respectable offense that has struggled at times this season, and neither LSU nor Auburn has a great defense. I don't see Alabama getting involved in any shootouts or giving up 4+ touchdowns again anytime soon, so the team that wins will need Alabama to be off their game.

If it is the same writer I heard, he said they would loose 2 of the following three games: aTm, LSU and SECCG.

Another writer from somewhere picked USCw to win the national title last year. Is there a point in this or just so much wishful thinking.

OK. And this means what?????? ANY preseason predictions are based on TOTAL luck. YES maybe AFTER the VT game Bama looked like it was prime for getting beat by a couple teams. BUT as usual Saban has done what he always does.... Bama has just kept improving and LSU is in a WORLD of trouble come nov 9th.
