It's obvious to me Mainieri is trying everything he knows to do to find a position for Kramer Robertson. The kid may not be another Alex Bregman as a freshman, but he's an athlete. He runs everywhere he goes during practice.
Fwiw, I predict his nickname will be "Goose."
