Going to a friends camp by the PAC marina all weekend. Never fished this area before. Any reports or tips would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Not cold enough for mines yet, but you might be able to pick a few specks up on the outskirts by broken marsh with current points. Fish reds anywhere and everywhere.

So probablly Lake Chene would be the best bet for specks? And thanks for the info fellas.

Lake Chene would be good. Fish areas where bayous meet the lake. The edges and points

I was in Catfish Lake Monday, the trout were gorging themselves on shrimp. I had never seen a trout come out of the water chasing shrimp until then.

There were still throwbacks, but I came out with 16 trout.
