Need help with a roster move

D Open, Bears on bye

Matthews BYE

Trying to pick up a defense for this week... Saints D best available. Do you drop any of these players? I wish Roddy White would break his leg so I'd have an excuse to drop him. Trying to trade Matthews instead of dropping him just for a defense for one week. Should I just roll without a defense?

I would just drop the Bears D. If you want them back, put in a waiver claim next week.
Or put together a package deal. Trade Romo (I assume you can only play 1 QB and Brees is past his bye) + Mathews for a RB or WR upgrade. Then pick up NO Def with the empty spot.
