NFL players get enough bad pub -- much of it deservedly so. For the Texans to slam Sam when he's clean is irresponsible to the league not to mention Sam.

Wow, if true, ESPN should be accountable for reporting damaging rumors. (like that would ever happen....) The Texans got rid of him for whatever reason, but to falsely turn it into a drugs issue is irresponsible at best.

Maybe he is legitimately clean. Problem is, most everyone is like you and assumes the worst, so whats the purpose of taking the test when he's guilty in the court of public opinion.

He could be, but his story is incredibly suspicious. They were sharing a cigar? Cigars smell nothing like weed, so I'm sure there was smell in the hotel that whoever caught them knew. Couple that with how easy it is to pass a drug test, and you'll forgive me for being skeptical about his clean test.
