I was looking at the schedule and thought surely this game is slated for CBS at 2:30. But then I noticed the Missouri vs Ole Miss game on the same day as well. Typically this would be a no brainer for CBS but Missouri has S carolina and Tennessee before that weekend and Ole Miss looks to go into that game without any more losses. If Missouri wins the next couple that might be the higher ranked team and a decent matchup. There also might be a push to get them on CBS more as well since LSU has been on it a few times. Now I know JFF is a TV draw, but I wonder if the LSU administrative office can try to push for the ESPN matchup. Of course I would rather we beat Bama and have us as the key matchup for that day, but I think a night game might still be possible if Missouri keeps winning. Nothing is listed on the CBS schedule yet for that date.

Could happen.....doesn't every team have to be on CBS at least once every 2 years?? I know Ole Miss hasn't had a CBS game this year.

I would say a lot will hinge on how LSU does against bama. If its ugly they may prefer a different game knowing that LSU would rather be at night as well. There were years when LSU-auburn was a better matchup than tennesseee-florida but they went with the other on CBS because LSU encouraged them to do so. If Missouri is undefeated and OLE Miss stays where they are it might be a more desirable matchup. Sure would like to get a meaningful night game this year at home.

Well considering that most on this board don't think LSU will win another game, we'll be going into the A&M game with losses to Furman and Bama. That's not a good resume to have a CBS game.

Vandy was on CBS 4 days ago, but it was the first time since '01.
