1 - College football has the worst postseason of any sport. For all but two teams, 3 months of games lead to 30+ meaningless exhibition games

2- College football does NOT have the best regular season. The potential is there if they would expand the upcoming playoffs to 8-16 teams with games being played on school campuses, not bowl game venues. It's a great season for those few teams who keep winning until the end, but it leaves most teams who lose once or twice early essentially nothing to play for the rest of the way. Expand the playoffs just a bit, and you start getting less "Alabama v. Ga. St." and more "LSU v. Oregon"

3 - The popularity of Michael Jordan runined baskeball. It's an ugly game sometimes filled with uncalled violations (traveling) and a contant parade to the free throw line. MJ was an outstanding athlete, with outstanding skill, but he was most marketed for his dunking ability. Future generations now believe that the most important skill a basketball player can have is is ability to dunk. The "team" concept is gone, and shooting is atrocious. Not everybody can "be like Mike", but there are far too many that think they are.

TO BETTER BASEBALL:

1) Draw a line in the dirt at first base. The baserunner can't go past that line and the pitcher can't throw over to first base.

2) Move the fences in. 300' down the line, 350 to the gaps, 375 to straight away.

3) Start with a 2-1 count.

GAME ON!

Media marketing?

Lol he won 6 fricking rings

He's also unbelievably dominant from a purely statistical standpoint. So he has both the high level of team success and the individual statistical dominance to back his GOAT claim.

Les Miles is an average coach at best.

He is a trust fund baby that inherited an already established, championship caliber program.

LSU will never win another championship under him.

HE didn't win them. His TEAM won them.

Again, he gets all the credit when he shouldn't b/c he had a great coach and a great supporting cast.

I will reiterate that MJ being viewed as the clear cut #1 GOAT is directly related to marketing.

Then why was he so dominant statistically? He's the career PPG leader in the regular season, playoffs, and finals.

Why even take a lead then? Sounds like you just want the bases shortened.

As for mine, the MLB would be better off having their season mimic European domestic soccer seasons. You have 1 league, play 2 three game series against every team in the league. That is 174 games and the team with the best record at the end would be champion. The fact that you play 162 games now and that isn't considered enough to determine the best team in the league is ridiculous.

There is also enough of a set up of minor league baseball that a relegation system could be implemented.

The NBA playoffs are rigged to a certain extent with the agenda of pushing every series to at least 5 or 6 games. More games, more money for everyone involved.
