I assume he still "has a foot"...But what's going on with that foot?

Jimmy Graham (foot) did not practice Wednesday.

"Each day we'll just take a peak on how he's progressing and be smart about it," coach Sean Payton said. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday that Graham was "uncertain" to play in Week 8 against the Bills. We're not likely to learn much about his Sunday status until later in the week. Graham owners need to have other tight end options in place. Ben Watson is Graham's backup in New Orleans.

Everything said about it from fans is pure speculation.

A better inquiry is to go ahead and discuss foot injuries in general. Maybe some Ortho Docs could get in on the conversation.

I'll open the convo by saying that, to my own recollection, foot injuries are generally NOT minor and recovery is NOT easy. Graham may not be 100 percent until next season -- and, I will be happy to be corrected by a physician, but, this "out for the season" scenario is NOT unlikely.

It could be a while before we see Jimmy dunking footballs over the goalpost again.

Based on pure speculation and the Saints language after the injury, I think Jimmy is going to play and he will be fine.

If he's less than 100% though, it may not be worth it. Think you guys should handle BUF at home easily without him. Last thing you guys wanna do is 'Roddy White' JG.

The driveman think WE should hold him out the next two AFC games to make sure he's ready for the death stretch we're about the hit. We need HIM healthy for the end, drivegut says he doesn't play

This is kind of my take on it......plus if it was minor I assume we would have heard something by now.

I would really hope they err on the side of caution and not rush him back and let him rest the next two weeks.

#Saints injury report won't come out until 3 CT. But Sean Payton described Jimmy Graham as 'Day to day. (Friday) will be an important day.'
