Too many reasons to count. But the main one is that so many posters want the most successful head coach in LSU football history fired. They want the DC that has been named national coach of the year fired and they seem to think that anyone not of the same opinion is an outright "Miles apologist".

Get real... LSU and every other program will lose some games, that's the way it is. Ole Miss has always been and will always be a tough game for LSU --- they really get UP for that game... even more so than the Egg Bowl. LSU is their primary "target" and the team they MOST want to beat. LSU on the other hand doesn't take Ole Miss as seriously ... and when things don't really go LSU's way.... we lose to Ole Miss.

These are facts, not opinion.

It might be the timing. Zach played the worst game of his career and we only lost by 3. The problem I suppose is that it's midway through season and we have a much improved UA on the horizon. dunno

Question for you, is the LSU football team and its head coach more like:

1. Texas

2. Alabama

Mostly because it's easy and popular for people to demand perfection or near perfection in an endeavor they themselves have no part in achieving. Basic human psychology I think.

Man I hope so. If the O plays perfectly, the D can put up decent resistance, Odell make some big ST plays.....

Calling for Miles and Chavis to be fired is silly. However, to think that they should be above criticism for the last loss (and last few losses) just because they have had great success at LSU is just as silly.

Last Saturday wasn't the first time a Les Miles LSU team has been in a tight game late against a team that they clearly overmatched. The difference is that his luck ran out and he lost this time as opposed to the other times where LSU escaped with a win against a inferior team (i.e. 2010 - UNC; 2010 - Tenn.; 2009 - MSU; 2008 - Troy)

Likewise, Chavis shouldn't escape criticism either, as this is the fourth time in a row that LSU has lost a game by allowing a game-winning drive late in a game that LSU was either leading or tied

You don't think LSU wanted to beat Ole Miss?

We couldn't get their offense off the field, and we stripped hand offs from our most explosive back for the majority of the game.

Yeah, I'm still upset over the loss, but there are still games to be played. The off-season is too long to stay butthurt.

the response to a loss by some fans is so full of vitriol and over the top i stay away from this site. most of the posters are childish and make demands like a 2 yr old. the tiger rant is a very unpleasant place to be. the adm. seem to love "patroling" this board and anchor posts with themes they don't like but they allow some of the most stupid bull shite imaginable and uber critical about our coaches, players, lsu as a university, etc.

i'm close to forgetting about this site.

You and I know this, but, does Coach Miles know this? Did Coach Miles impart this information to his players?

I don't know, because, the LSU football team did not seem "UP" to me at any point in that game.

But what do I know? I'm just a fan in the peanut gallery.

This is going to be the longest and darkest month in the Tiger Rant's history.

Oct 19th- Loss to a not great Ole Miss. Everyone loses their minds.

Oct 26th- Win over Furman, we will find something to bitch about here but it's all gearing up for Bama.

Nov 2nd - No game for LSU or Bama, we all fight over how bad Bama is going to skull rape LSU.

Nov 9th - Bama game. LSU is a double digit dog. People will lose their shite again on here, win or lose.

Nov 16 - No game. This place might be a ghost town due to all the banning.
