Tigerdroppings effect

We all understand the popularity of tigerdroppings. National writers, recruits, current players, and fans check the site daily. With all the negative talk lately about the program and it's leadership. Does this reflect negatively on our fan base? Could comments made about a recruit positive or negative effect a recruits decision? Overall am I the only one who feels that this site negatively effects LSU athletics?

You have to keep in mind there is a site like this with the same kind of idiots for every single fanbase. You only notice it about LSU because you are an LSU fan. It all equals out.

People care, and sometimes fans go off the rails. So what? A site like this does infinitely more good than harm. Plus, truly outrageous statements are shot down.

Agree but I do feel like this site is more influential than others. It's has been sited by national personalities and national publications.

Again, this is because you're an LSU fan. Plenty of other sites get the same publicity.

We make up a very tiny percentage of "fans" so it's doubtful what anyone on here has an affect on anything......even remotely. For the record, there are great discussions by some of our fans which LSU football and LSU athletics in general should consider. Afterall, it's the fans who are a massive majority of their support.

There's probably a good reason for the negativity, therefore I would say that good reason has a negative effect on this site

This is simply not true. While all schools I think it would be safe to assume, have a fan site with a message board, I doubt there are 5 other schools with anywhere near the reach that TD has.
and other schools' fans aren't as typically retarded as TD posters.

Texas, Bama, A&M, and that's just neighboring states. USC and OSU definitely have just as big sites.
