Just read on bleacher. This pisses off. If you want to teach him a lesson on hanging on to the ball, punish him at practice. Not in the damn game. The whole team, fans, and team goals and the win suffers for this nonsense.

IMHO, it was a bad coaching decision. Mike Detillier says so, too, but, WTF does HE know about football?

My problem with it is that he DID NOT do the same with Blue when he actually turned the ball over vs TCU. Next series Blue was in the game. Plus that was in a game where Magee was already outrushing him on far fewer rushes. So why the hypocrisy Miles? Hill didnt even turn the ball over. Blue did and we were only up by 6 at the time.

It probably took Mike 5 minutes to say it, and in 8 different ways.

Dude, Blue was demoted down to mostly special teams play. He has been non existent in the offense since that fumble. You think that is a coincidence?

With this philosophy it seems it would apply to Mett as well. I just think it is the wrong time to teach a lesson to someone with a game on the line and so much riding on this game.

He sat 2 series. He played the majority of snaps after that. Hill sitting had no outcome on the game.

He should have gotten more snaps. He is the game breaker at anytime.

Well he would have if we don't turn the ball over 3 times in the first half and half to go full out catch up mode for the majority of the second half.

I agree and thats another story. But keep pounding Hill and maybe we don't get in those situations. We were playing a team outmanned. My god i just think we would have wore them down in the second half.

I did like the example he gave with Gurley. So if your Mark Richt (sp) at Georgia and Gurley fumbles one time you send him to the bench??

If Hill was punished for fumbling, then Les should bench himself for remainder of season for his stupid crap.

WTF are you smoking?

He started the next game.

First Play 1st and 10 at LSU 25

Alfred Blue rush for 5 yards to the LSU 30.

He was also one carry short of Hill vs Kent St despite not starting.
