Group of about 7-10.

Staying on convention center and looking at La Boca, Tableau, Kingfish, or Mr B's.

I've only been to Mr Bs and i love the bbq shrimp there. I've been craving it so much since I moved to Texas.

Anybody been to the other restaurants or have any other recs for the areas?

I'm probably going to Domenica for lunch during my stay. Love the rabbit tagliatelle.. craving that too. I miss Nola so much

La Boca

Kind of small for that size group.

Tableau, Kingfish

Meh.

Mr. B's is a solid choice.

Glass's choice of Peche would be great, Herbsaint is in the neighborhood also. It's first rate.

I would probably do La Boca and then Kingfish out of these.

I wasn't impressed with herbsaint when i went for my bday a few years back. The duck confit was too salty for my taste and we got pretty shitty service on my bday with a reservation.

Yes, I'm leaning towards Mr Bs even though i've been there. Any other new places or places I should try in the area?

Neauxla- yes we are!! You responded to my invite with a Maybe?? lol

Delmonico's does family style servings for large groups and it's damn good. They do a three course with desert or four course with desert and we opted for the three. The charcuterie course alone was epic. They followed that with a fish dish, then they brought out a ton of steak with lots of sides. Never saw a menu which is nice for a large party. More like a three meal dinner with desert.

I've actually never been there. heard it's fantastic but for a group of people with different tastes, I don't think it would be a good choice.

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about Delmonico. Most of them are not good.

I was thinking Nola if i'm going with a Emeril's restaurant.

I almost never trust people's reviews of restaurants unless I've dined with them. People are morons most of the time. I like Emeril's better than NOLA. I don't see how anyone could complain with what we got at Delmonico's.

Go to Emeril's. It is a fantastic restaurant. Probably top 10 fine dining in city, if not Top 5. If the white bolognese is on the menu, get it.
