I think its obvious he has some type of knee injury. We can handle this week w/o him imo...

Something is definitely wrong with Metts knee. I think that had something to do with the int's he threw. Go back and watch the tape, he wasn't stepping into his throws the way he should.. Les wont say anything but i think he's injured.

I totally agree with you....I'm just saying for 9 years now, Miles refuses to put in the back-up QB till late, late in the 4th of games..

I guess you know better than Miles about the status of Mett and whether or not he can play.
Obviously no shite, sit him down if he is injured. If he can play, he should play. He is the starting QB and we have a bye week for him to rest leading in to the most difficult game on the schedule which will be followed by another bye week. The idea that he should be rested this week (unless he is actually hurt) is fricking stupid.

No Way ! You let him get some quality reps in and get confidence then play Jennings. You want Ole Miss in his head for two more weeks and then play Bama ? Not a plan and no where near a good one.

He may in fact be "nicked", but I don't think the injury had anything to do with any of the INT's. The INT's were a result of poor decisions, coupled with poor passes. I would be more inclined to say that the injury helped cause the inaccurate passes if ZM hasn't been so inaccurate on the deep ball throughout his 2 years at LSU. He certainly wasn't inaccurate on those "stick" passes over the middle in the 2nd half, and showed no ill effects from a potential injury there.
At that said, if he is hurt, there should be no need to keep him out there all game against Furman.

It seemed to me like when he came out of that QB sneak in the first half of the FL game he was a little gimpy. And then at the end of that game he definitely was.
I say play him a quarter or so. If we can get a 3 score lead let the younger guys get some experience.

so i guess none of you negative jerks saw him limping in the Florida game? All i said was let him rest for the Furman game.. He's hurt and it dosen't take a rocket scientist to see that... You know that big arse knee brace he's wearing? That's normally reserved for the big guys on the o line. I never said he should loose his job.. Just rest the knee this week. If we cant beat Furman without Mett then we have big issues. One week of rest and then a bye might be good for the knee.. He sure as hell wasn't 100% against ole miss..
