Co-GM dispute: Trading WR for RB

2 QB PPR 10 team league... I'm having a debate with my co-gm. Please weigh in. First our lineup.
QBs - Brady, Pryor, Cutler
RBs - Forte, D. Martin (could be gone for season), R. Mathews, Ellington,
WR - Calvin Johnson, Dez, Boykin, James Jones (cut Cobb last week)
TE - Jordan Reed
Flex - J. Jones, R. Mathews, Ellington
K - Prater
D - 49ers
0 FA dollars
GM #1
One of us wants to trade Dez for a top 10 RB like Reggie Bush or Knowshon along with another piece such as P. Rivers or another receiver. Slot J. Jones or Boykin into WR2 and look for better flex thru FA or another trade.
GM #2
The other wants to plug D. Martin with Ellington or Mathews @ RB2 and move down the road with J. Jones and Boykin as Flex.
Which would you do?

Only trade discussed is Dez for Moreno and another piece such as Rivers.
Other GM just wants to stand pat and plug in Ellington or Mathews at RB2

Sorry, not clear. We lost Martin this week. He wants to rotate 2 guys (ellington or mathews) in the #2 rb spot.
