Bringing back the 70's style big 10 offense

buckle up the chin straps and go toe to toe with Alabama. We're going to put Hillard in the I formation with 2 TE's, a fullback and a WR split out wide and run right at them. Then we can throw the ball on 3rd and 12. Yes they will kill us on the scoreboard, but we will show them how tough we are.

dude you are starting to get it. By down field though, doesn't neccessarily have to be all deep deep throws. Anything that is not laterally. An occasional lateral throw sprinkled in with mainly short, mid and deep throws. Have to keep them on their heels. Also with a steady dose of Hill. Forget about lining up in an I with two TE's and running at them, not going to work.
