70s - Staying Alive - Bee Gees
80s - Don't you forget about me - Simple minds
90s - Smells like teen spirit - Nirvana
00's - no idea. That decade really didn't have a feel.

The 90s would have to be something with more mass appeal. Not that I don't like SLTS, but when I think of "THE NINETIES", I think more of songs that damn near took over the world like the macarena and shite.

80s has to be either:

A) Michael Jackson song, or
B) a hair band song (Welcome to the Jungle?)

GOAT. I don't even think that noise that came before Drake can be technically called music.

This depends on who you are.

70's range from Led Zeppelin to Elton John to the Bee Gees to Donna Summer or KC and the Sunshine Band.

80's range from AC DC to Def Leppard to Journey to Madonna.
90's range from Pearl Jam to GNR to Matchbox 20 to Celine Dion to the advent of the rap shite.

00's are just aptly named. A bunch of nothing.
Except maybe for Linkin Park.

Incubus and RHCP put out some fly arse shite in the 00s. Don't know if it would define them, though
