Great Redbox option.
Hadn't heard anything about this, but it's a great coming of age indie with a more lighthearted Lord of the Flies feel to it.
Also has Ron f'ing Swanson being a badass as always and Allison Brie in a brief role as well for some eye candy, although she actually looks oddly plain in this.
Anyway, a really well directed indie with some great music and great performances by a few very talented young actors, especially this guy, who is creepy in a totally awesome way and will be a star pretty soon I'd think

Man I watched this last night and enjoyed the hell out of it!
That kid and Offerman cracked me up the entire movie and you're spot on about the soundtrack.

I saw it at the Robinson Film Center in Shreveport, thought it was great.
Outstanding cast as well.
If you get a chance see "In a World" starring, written and directed by Lake Bell. Its another good small movie.

SPOILERS:
Was I the only one that thought Ron Swanson, while great, really played a shitty jerk of a father. I mean, overall, his son seemed like a good enough kid. And he just gave him all kinds of shite for what seemed for no reason.
Also, the second lead's parents were so fricking awful it was hilarious. The kid's exasperation with them had me laughing my arse off.
Really enjoyable movie.
