Can LSU split between Bama and A&M and have a respectable season? Can Miles keep Jones, Fornette, and Noil from going elsewhere? I think most people still support Miles but if we finish 8-4 and lose the top recruits in our state to divisional rivals, people could start to get restless. If there is one thing for certain about Les Miles it's you never know what you are going to get. Should be an intruiging story.

could say the same thing about Oklahoma, Texas, Notre Dame, Florida, USCE, USCW...etc.

17yr old cb's and a Jeckyl and Hyde qb lend credence to your assumption.

get better, get better, get better.

we've seen these games from Miles every year... if you are a fan, support the team and the players because Miles isn't going anywhere. 2.5+ losses per year. Good coach and good recruiter.. Not elite...

I think we are on the front end of a Mack Brown/UT
type decline. The win/loss on the games and on recruiting are creeping in.

BTW - UT lost to OM also.

I think, on the average, a HC in these big programs can only be effective for 8 to 10 years.

The days of a Bobby Bowden are ,for the most part, history.

Our fans can be such babies sometimes. Dude, we lost two games this season that we easily could've have also won. Had that been the case, you'd be screaming that this is the best LSU team in the country.

Keep in mind that during this "decline", we've posted 10W seasons. How is that a decline exactly? Losing that much on defense just proved it's point - it's hard to recover immediately. Have some faith.
