Pretty sure that when Cam called the play, he wasn't suggesting that Mett throw into double coverage. Mett made the decision where to throw the ball.

That's like saying never call a pass again. You expect your QB to know when to make that throw and when to be able to read the safety.

What the hell do you think a current player is going to say?? "Hey, my coach is an idiot, lets fire him??"

You obviously failed math. Him winning the 8 i laid out would not make miles undefeated nor anywhere close to it. But keep posting stupid comments putting words in peoples mouths.

Good lord. Yes, Mett was coached to throw into double coverage and/or underthrow the ball. How do some of you people remember to breathe?

Coaches lose games they should win. That is nothing unique to us and our facilities. You are incredibly delusional to think teams win every game they should. It's not how the world works.

Case in point, Nick Saban has lost to UAB and ULM while at LSU and Bama. I suppose he should be fired for losing those games?

After a loss like this it's funny to see the same cycles from the fan base. Blame, defense, acceptance.

All this staff and team have to do in order to win back those who are doubting is beat Alabama. Unfortunately it's a one game season now and the Bama game is make or break. In two weeks it's going to be jubilation or the staff will be on the hot seat.
\
The offense looked very different the other night and my hope is the staff don't let the turnovers cause them to pucker like they have in the past. Not going to beat Alabama with defense this year.

So if he were making $80k he would be absolved for the OM game in your eyes?

Much fail in these interview comments from Leslie.

Miles apologized and expressed his regret for the way he mismanaged the clock at the end of the game, saying his original intent was to ice the kicker, but then he thought better of it and realized that time had slipped away.

• When asked whether any of his assistants could call time-outs, Miles said, “No.”

Using the logic of this thread:

If loses can be on the players and not the coach...

Can the wins be on the players and not the coach as well?

The people who bring up pay. What are they thinking? Pretty good indicator of who you can ignore.

Considering all of you Miles bashers give him none of the credit when he wins and all of the blame regardless of how we lose, I'm going to say you already do that.

I'm asking you pumper.

Pumpers BLAME players when we lose and credit MILES when we win.

You accuse the rest of us of doing the opposite. Fine. I can live with that. I'd rather bash a grown man millionaire than a bunch of kids.

So IF this loss wasn't on Miles...

List the WINS that weren't on Miles either...

Who said it wasn't partly on him? He should have had the team better prepared. Regardless, Mett's play in the first half dug us in a deep hole. The defense shitting the bed on 3rd and long all night did us no favors. There is plenty of blame for everyone.

That is something you and your ilk don't seem to understand. Like that other idiot in here earlier claiming talent alone won us two games we would have lost, completely ignoring that Les got us that talent. Your hypocrisy is a fricking joke, just like most of your opinions.

Guess you didn't read the OP. Y'all were sitting around WAITING for one of the players to say this just so this thread could be posted to say "SEE!!!! IT'S THE PLAYERS WHO SUCK NOT MILES!!!!"

While I'm tired of it.

List wins where the PLAYERS WON in spite of Miles and let's all watch the sword cut both ways.

You ever considered that it's possible for the players AND coaches to share responsibility for wins and losses?
