I think Peterson's the type to give the Vikings a chance to make some improvements this offseason.
But if there isn't some promise on the horizon, I wouldn't guarantee he comes back for 2015. At that point, I think he's only out the 2.4 million portion of his signing bonus left (although he's be walking away from 43 million+).

He was on a fantastic team in 2009, but it was probably the "worst" year of his career.
The Vikings were pretty good in 2008 and okay last year. He has been in the playoffs like half of his career.

each year also had a similar ending. Both of their teams lost to the Green Bay Packers in the wildcard round at Lambeau Field in the playoffs.
