i see the Saints picking somewhere between 28-32, who would you want the saints to take?

I say if Eric Ebron(TE UNC) or Austin S. Jenkins(TE WASH) are there it would be hard to pass up. Pairing the with Graham would be lethal. When Drew retires you could have a set of

Ebron/ASJ
Graham
Stills
Morgan
Toon

for a new QB. That is an elite group if they pan out.

I could see them bolstering the oline, but considering a new a coach and new scheme maybe they work out the kinks through out the year.

I doubt we go receiver in the first round.

We need to go o-line or outside linebacker in the first round next year.

i was just throwing that out there. The draft is one of my favorite times of the year.

O line and offensive weapons(wr/te). Maybe add some olb depth. I think we need to give Brees more to work with though. Eventually teams will figure out how to stop graham and Sproles if there are no consistent threats outside. This could also be remedied a bit by upgrading the line to allow a better running game. Regardless I think we actually need more weapons.

And in before "but Brees makes everyone better. " and I get that but it sure as hell wouldn't hurt to give him some better options.

Wouldn't be surprised with another cb if there is one we like there, either. Seems to be a position of need IMO.

I think Stills and Toon could be a good young pair. I'm not sold on getting another receiving option that early on.

I want a receiver/playmaker, but we need to go OL first round as long as its not a big stretch. If we're reaching, I rather pick up a playmaker (WR/TE) and spend a 2nd on a OL

They could be for sure. I'm still not sure either of them will be that guy you can count on to consistently win on the outside. If we could find one of those guys in the draft it would be huge in keeping the defense from overcomitting to graham and let Sproles stay effective as he will likely lose a step over the next few years.

I'd also love to just get an elite center/road grading guard. I feel like we've really missed the physicality Nicks brought in the running game.

Yeah I think OL should be the top priority in the draft. I wouldn't be hugely pissed if there's a very good WR there, but hopefully we can somehow get some more competition at OL and somehow create bigger holes for a semi decent running game.

Either way I'm OK with whoever the bpa is. I honestly think we've set up a nice very young defensive core.

Why people want to add another receiver is beyond me. Give the current guys we have at least the rest of the season to show their stuff. Brees has been targeting Graham too much. Yeah he usually gets it but Stills and Toon can't perform when they don't get the ball thrown their way.

Right now OL>Linebackers>Secondary>anything else on offense.

probably OT.

I don't think Brown has done that bad actually.

but I think the right side could use some work.

hard to say about the guards. Just spent money on Grubbs a few years ago in free agency. Evans, well, he's had it rough so far but I think he'll be OK as the season goes on.

Center? Sure.

but definitely later on the draft and not a first rounder or even a second rounder( hadn't done that since LeCharles Bentley) draft an interior lineman that high.

Right?

I honestly want Landry if no geat OT's or centers are available. I'm worried about our receivers and think he would be a good Moore replacement.

I'm not a guy who usually wants us to draft lsu players either

both have played great and we have some young talent behind them. Brown is a FA though

yeah Armstead is waiting his turn.

but what about Strief ? He's missed a handful of games the last few years b/c of injury. Just kinda makes me nervous. He's serviceable but do you like him longer term?

He's been extremely solid, especially in 2011. If we keep Brown, then I'm fine with having him on the other side with Armstead as depth.

I'm mostly concerned with C right now, but it would be nice to have a dominant tackle for running

I think another position to look at would be ILB.

Hawthorne has looked a lot better this year in the 3-4. Seems like he has been up and down though. Had a good game vs. Tampa but not so much vs. NE. I'd like to see us use a mid round pick for some depth here. I know some have mentioned OLB... could see that too for sure.

where has Martez Wilson been? He's been limited on playing time.

seems like he just can't get settled in anywhere. He's bounced all over the place since he's got to New Orleans. OLB mostly in a 4-3 ---> DE in a 4-3 ---> OLB in a 3-4.

I can agree with that, but that would have to be a mid round pick up since we already have our 2 starters.

I'm okay with OLB with Butler coming back next year

Offensive Tackle and Corner back should be the only thing on our board. Perhaps Guard and Center too.
