Who makes the FINAL personnel decisions?

I won't beat the dead horse about "DJ the car-chasing dog", but how and the hell does Martin get his job back after Thompson's performance? Hell, throw in Loston for that matter. Secondly, is it me, or, did La'el have just as much of a disappointing night as Porter & Hawkins?

What did Thompson do so special? Or was he just the beneficiary of the d line getting pressure on the qb the 2nd half at State and the Fla. game? Just asking an honest question.

He made tackles. Broke up some passes. On the 3rd and long in the 4th qtr thrown to Martin's man, he had 3 options- 1. Get and int that he was in position for 2. Slobber knock the shite outta the guy and knock the ball loose 3. Just make a simple tackle to not allow yds after catch. Amazingly, he did fricking neither. He weakly launched himself toward the WR. Arms tucked, no less. Missed everything, and allowed another 13 yds. He fkin sux. I would bench every db I see that approaches a player with their arms tucked. It's called tackling. I see better fundamentals at my nephew's little league games.

He had 12, 8 solo. Granted the 1 he miss was big. But I do recall Thompson getting beat for td at state and having an interference call in the end zone at Georgia. So what will u do with him coach on his lack of technique?

You cant judge our defense based on the florida game. They are a terrible terrible offensive team. Reality set back in vs ole miss.

Really I'm not, I think Thompson has alot potential and will be real good player. All I'm saying none of them have sat the world on fire back there. But what's crazy next year when Thompson is playing y'all will be saying bench him. Lol
