Andy Frasco puts on one of the best live shows i've ever seen

Holy shite this guy is good.
Musically he was as talented as anyone at Yonder Mountain's Harvest festival.
As for his showmanship i'm not sure i've ever been at a rowdier 2am festival show in my life. Twas truely epic, not to mention pretty crowded. He seamlessly moves from dialogue into song into dialogue into improv set back into music with the band fricking around in the background.
If you get a chance go see him live, you won't regret the decision.

He plays pretty regularly at a bar in my neighborhood and I always try to make it out to see him.

I've seen him twice and it is a non-stop party. Impossible not to have fun.
A Jewish guy with a fro from LA playing "party" blues and an Asian playing sax.
I can't wait to see them again. They are in Baton Rouge in November I think.

at one point he crowd surfed to a guy in a chicken suit to chug a bottle of jameson then crowd surfed right back on stage to start up a guitar vs saxophone battle.

Frasco is a joke.
His band sounds like shitty balkan punk rock. The level of musicianship is laughable at best.

I disagree here, now i've listened to his albums and they aren't as good as his live shows but his live shows feature lots of improv jam band type stuff that requires a lot of musicianship.
