Birds are starting to show up. No deer yet tbis morning but i got a couple of greedy arse rabbits in the foodplot right now...

I hunt just North of Beauregard...

This past weekend on my deer stand I saw a flight of 50+ specklebellies, and a flight of 30 or so big ducks go over.

Had a nice 8 pt walk directly under me at daybreak. Could have spined him but not quite Pope n Young material yet
Sniffed bottom if my tree while eating white oak acorns. Next year he's a keeper
Saw 6 other does. Took nice yearling with spine shot at 7 yds. Had part of her ear bitten off by another deer it looked like. Just not her year I reckon

BTW ... Two blade 100 gr Rage FTW. ;)

Edit( thought I hit submit with this this a.m. Must have had backstrap on the mind LOL)
