An unbelievable upgrade over our guy now.

I know miles is going nowhere and in noway can lsu pay the buy out but briles style would pack the stadium from start to finish.

People are leaving early because lsu football has lost excitement over the years as miles has sucked the energy from that stadium.

All this said, miles is going nowhere and its only make believe

LSU fans are just spoiled. If you think a close game against an SEC foe (read, Florida) is lacking excitement, then there's not much Briles is going to do to help.

He's 80 in real life. I think that's like, 200 in coach years.

why in the hell did he get such an extension? You NEVER financially hamstring yourself like that. An extension for a chicken bowl season? There's ALWAYS other coaches. We should've called his bluff and seen if he'd walk. Which, he wouldn't have. I would've at least put in performance clauses, not just possible bonuses. Like many have said, he has absolutely no job insecurity or fear of termination. He's a coaching Teamster. We got duped by an agent.

He has held lsu hostage twice with bullshite offers.

People were worried about him leaving for ARKANSAS.

Thats comical. He got his raise and extension.

Great retort. Especially coming from that outstanding thread you started earlier.

How did that one go for you?

Baylor was up 37-0 at half yesterday. TS would definitely be empty after that no matter who's the coach.

Not an anti-miles statement by me, I just don't like being one if those programs that can't fix a declining era because they're financially strapped. The # of yrs got me more than the actual figures.

genius. 38–30 is Art Briles record. Do you really think he is better because he is having a good year?

He is at freaking Baylor and had to build that program up.

I actually posted a similar thread on 247. I believe Briles combined with the Louisiana talent would do something special. I support Miles, but as fans we can discuss this subject.
