First, i think this is a gopher hole but need confirmation from the wise.
Now how the hell to I kill this little sucker? I've poured poison down the hole with no success. Has any one tried gassing him out with you exhaust pipe?
Help is much appreciated.

shoot them or buy smoke bomb at local feed/hdware store. Seal all the holes you can find then light and drop down

or I have seen them pump propane dn the hole and ignite it - the earth moves

Release live water moccasins in the holes. Unstoppable approach.

I had some on my property. The way I found best is together rid of them is to trap them. I tried everything and every kind of trap and only one worked. Probably 6" long and about 2" tall. When tripped it squeezes the gopher. Takes a little trial and error but get a table spoon and dig around carefully in the freshest mound until you find their hole. This can take a little practice but once you find a couple it will get easier. When you find the hole set the trap and place a 5gallon bucket over it. This will allow just enough light in that the gopher will come back to repair it and you will catch him. Don't give up and you will get him. Once you've caught the first it gets a little easier but they are sneaky bastards. Stay after them and you will eventually get rid of them all.

Nice thanks. I obviously found a love tunnel because I dug it out a little but and poured some poison down there. 20 min later he had closed it up. Hopefully he ate some but I doubt.
Will try the traps tomorrow.
Last resort, definitely the snakes and blowing up the front yard.

Snakes sound like a terrible idea. Why kill one problem only to have another more poisonous one on your property?
