Made a walk in the basin Friday afternoon, very dry, but this was prior to the monsoon Friday night. To windy for tree rats, only saw one. Ducks and geese have arrived in Vermillion parish.

Went to Hopedale and fished in the rain Saturday morning. We caught bass, specks, and reds. Also, had a great time hanging out with some folks I hadn't seen in a while.

Couple of guys killed a few gar with a .410 as they swam under the fish cleaning tables.

I'm getting released from here in two weeks, and I'll FINALLY be able to participate in these threads...hopefully thru the end of the year.

Nice post r on r on r. I'm ready for some Cajun sleighrides. There ain't even WATER up here in Amarillo...much less salt water.
