AND THEY WERE COMPLETELY INJURED. 4 STARTERS ON D AND THEIR STARTING STAR RUNNING BACK / RETURNER!! this was an embarrassing loss! it would be on par to bama losing to ar-kansas last night... instead they won 52-0 like a real SEC champ would. THIS was the beginning of the end.

Every team in the SEC has talent. Ole Miss was well coached and prepared. This just isn't LSU's year.

We've been saying this for what, 6 seasons now?

I imagine we'll be making excuses and saying it again next year as well.

This.

Everybody calm down. This isn't LSU's year.

Coach Miles will not be fired. Chief will not be fired.

Coach Saban will probably win another BCS Championship, but, that has nothing to do with LSU, so, stop being bothered by what others do or do not do.

LSU football: get to a bowl game, win your bowl game. That's what I expect from you this season. (honestly, I may revise my expectations -- I am not sure whether it is reasonable for anyone to expect LSU to win the bowl games any longer).

Do not compare Saban's Alabama regime with any other college football coaching regime of the last 40 years, because there is absolutely no comparison. Saban's Alabama regime will go down in history as the greatest dynasty of all time in college football.

Just be happy with what we have at LSU and forget about Saban and Alabama. We have young men wearing purple and gold playing for LSU, and, let's focus on rooting for them.

Also, stop comparing Coach Miles to other up and coming SEC coaches. It's not a healthy thing to do. So what, LSU lost to Ole Miss. It happens -- happened in the past and will happen again in the future.

This time Ole Miss had inferior talent. So what. The amateur immature LSU football team looked like amateurs. I've come to expect this once or twice a season.

If you want to see sharp, crisp, disciplined, professional football for Four Quarters every game day, do not, I repeat do not watch LSU football, because you won't see that. You will see amateur football played by immature 18 to 22 year olds.

If you want to watch professionally-played football games, the NFL is your game.

Well i agree fella but ugh, you need to maybe settle down a bit. I mean it can't be doing you any good by being so angry over a football game. This is what LSU is now it won't change until Miles is fired. Unfortunately for us he has built up at least 2 years of equity.

What a compelling argument for staying calm. Lower expectations, watch your biggest rival win another one, and love your coach at all costs.

End of what? LSU is not going anywhere. It was a disappointing loss for sure, but you need to step away from the ledge. We are mediocre along with the rest of the SEC minus Bama this year. Last years attrition would have been a huge set back to any team. LSU is no exception.

It is hard to stomach that we are living in Bama's world right now. I still feel like we have a decent shot to knock them off this year.

do you not get sick and tired of watching an unprepared, barely coached team every week. Clock management, my NORD coach was better at it than this whole crew.

Then stay home and watch it on TV. Ole Miss is not a TERRIBLE SEC team. They have beaten 2 ranked teams and came close to beating a 3rd. They are not Kentucky.

i know bama is on a another level but come on man.. you cant drop that game to ole miss. before you know it we will lose to vandy .. we really might drop 3 more games this year too. nobody should be happy with that. i dont care how much of a die hard you are. any coach in the sec could win 8 games a year at LSU

LSU should worry or think about Alabama one week out of 52 weeks a year. LSU fans can ignore Alabama otherwise, and should do so for their own mental health.

Love Coach Miles? Sure. There are many reasons to do so. Due to circumstances beyond my control and full understanding, I am saying that Miles is a perfect fit for LSU and that LSU football has done just about all it can accomplish in the last ten years.

You can fire Miles, but, I have no faith whatsoever that the LSU powers that be could hire a better replacement. I have no faith in LSU's capability to do what it takes to hire a great football coach -- I doubt the competence of the LSU administrators to accomplish that task.

So, stick with Miles and don't expect better than this, because the powers that be are satisfied with the status quo.

This is amateur football, so, don't go crazy when the team looks like a bunch of amateurs.

OK, Well maybe LSU should lower the ticket and apparel prices. If its such a problem to expect our team to compete for NCs, then why isn't it a problem for LSU to charge us National Championship prices.
