I blame most of our fans over reactions on Bama being in our division

It creates these ridiculous comparisons and expectations. We've had as good a run the last decade as any team in the country with maybe the exception of Bama and for some fans thats not good enough.

Who cares. We have great talent like Bama and play in chicken sandwich bowls while they're winning BCS titles.

Les Miles NC includes losses to Kentucky and Arky.

We've been delusional for a while.

Everyone keeps bitching about Bering good enough, or title or bust. It's not that it's not good enough, it what could have been for years now that seem to pass us up each year due to none head decisions by our coach that continues to get more money and stability even though he hasn't done a thing to earn it

That's good. Then you are happy with this successful season and last nights game effort. Championships and being the best do not motivate you. We get it. This fan base is divided between those that are happy with good and those that are happy with great. Wonder what the fan base at BAMA is happy with?

Les just lost to a 3-3 Ole Miss team that was coached by the retard from The Blind Side.

Sorry but you don't have to be delusional to expect a healthy top 10 team to beat a depleted 3 loss team.

I'm pretty sure that's why there's a meltdown.

Hmm we were the best program in the west and crushing Bama.,,since then they hired our ex coach and won 3 titles including completely embarrassing us in our own state on 1-9.

I wish we were on bamas level.

Yep. That's why I get pissed. Our talent is right there with Bama, yet we seem to always end up with a couple of losses, shitty clock management, poorly prepared teams for a couple of weeks out of the season, and a coach that sticks his finger in his ear on the sidelines and eats grass. Yeh, I'm mad.

Take out the "maybe"

But I agree having this Bama program in our division is the only reason LSU fans aren't happy. Without Saban there, LSU wins the 2011 NC and wins the west last year and we are all happy.

because types like you do not see how we have underachieved actually.

Exactly...which is why I can't understand why some fans continually back Miles.

Aside from the aberrancy that was the 2011 season, he has lost 2-3 games per year. This isn't outstanding, stellar, or "elite". With the resources at this program, and the abundance of in state talent, it's actually the minimum.

you mean like the 5 or 6 other games miles lost throughout his tenure he should have won and have on his resume?

2005- Ut

2006- i give miles a pass

2007-no excuse losing to UK or arky player management was garbage in those games along with OTFD.

2008-arky

2009-ole piss and penn state

2010-i give him a pass

2011- i give him a pass(could count bama but i will not)

2012-clemson (we could count UF but i won't, i'll give him a pass)

2013-ole piss

so really we are at 8 games when i only used 5 or 6 in my example.

LSU has bigger problems on its hands than just bama.

I dont think having your team show up motivated and ready to play more than once or twice a year. regardless of talent level, is too much to ask. That's the biggest thing that has bothered me about Miles tenure. A general lack of urgency and give a shittedness most of the time.

LSU didn't win a NC from 1958 to 2003. What a waste of 45 years. I guess we should have just shut down the whole program.

You assume if Les Miles wasn't here that we would be sooo much better? Explain Saban's so so record he 5 years here.

It could be much worse.

I want us to be in the contention for a national title at the end of the year every 2-4 years. Thats pretty high exceptations.

If your expectations is to be in contention every year or 2 years then you are going to have a long miserable life.

You are fans, not coaches or players. If you can't enjoy something this good, in which you have NO control over it then i can only assume its because your real life is shitty and you are a failure at your own life so LSU football is the only thing you have to make you feel special. And that is sad.

You give Miles a pass for 2006 but not for 2005 Tenn? Why? 2006 was a waste of the most talented roster LSU ever had. 2005 was the hurricane disruption.
