It was pretty mind boggling to see such a lack of preparation and then in game adjustments. What we did wasn't working, and our coaching never seemed to figure out a way to adjust.

Offense: I know Les loves his I formation, but c'mon man. The entire season your QB and offense have been on fire. Your QB and WRs are in sync for the first time in who knows how long and you decide to just pound the ball mindlessly for the entire first half. The few passes Mett had were all mostly deep and out thrown out of PA and ended up being picked.
It wasn't until almost the end of the first half or maybe even until the second half that we started to see some of those shotgun formations we were so successful out of. You know your defense has been porous...why in the hell would you waste that much time off the clock trying to pound the ball when you're clearly falling behind faster than you can even blink. Had we adjusted sooner, who knows.

Defense: Chief....why the hell are you staying in a base defense against 3-4-5 WR sets? You've been doing this shite all season and it's driving me nuts. What makes you think leaving both Welter and Barrow in on obvious passing plays will lead to any kind of success? Time after time that killed us as at one point Ole Miss converted 7/12 3rd down and 8 or greater.
How the hell have you not learned how to play end of game defense yet? Time after time this continues to get exploited without any sign of change. It's sad that as happy as I was after we scored that last TD, I tried to prep myself.."don't get your hopes up." Guess I was right.

It's taken me awhile to calm down from last nights game and I'm not giving up on the season yet with two huge opponents left to play. However, this staff needs to get their head out of their arse. They might not have all the studs they did last year, but even those guys struggled big time down the stretch. One again, you can't sit here and bash the players when the staff can't even figure out a way to get them in the best position to succeed. Not to mention I could barely see any intensity last night.

You missed pregame. Lots of intensity in the dance moves.

As I said before the season, I will be happy with 8&4. Now I am not so sure we will make it.

Barrow in on passing downs is a gimme for the offense.

But beyond alignments LSU just has subpar players at many positions. Already mentioned Barrow but Loston is almost as much as a liability in the passing game. Say what you but these guys are too slow. Add a lack of pass rush and we have what is painfully obvious.

Well said. Miles has to understand that our best offense is the spread. The more we spread people with the passing game, the more the running game should open up. We could use more speed on offense.

That o-line is pathetic....who the frick gives up all those sacks to a D that's lost 3 D-lineman to injury? It didn't look like any LSU player gave a shite. They got punched in the mouth by a shitty arse Ole Miss team.....it was very bit as embarrassing as the "clock it" game.

Loston, Rasco, Johnson, Barrow, Martin, all have been huge disappointments. I don't have a clue what Loston is doing. Terrible tackler, balls in the air and he's late to assist or make the play. It is just beyond comprehension.

Our O line is garbage and that's miles "area of expertise" really! He and stud need to be fired or set up on some sexual harassment charges so we don't have to buy him out. I can understand why he would cheat though his wife is horrific

Chief has no confidence in his D Backs., so we are stuck playing too much Cover 2 defense? Losing the prior D Back coach year before last has really hurt. Evidently Miles has put a leash on Cam. There is no way Cam runs all that Power I in the first half. I wonder what happened to the fast pace offense that we were working on in the Spring???? If we want to beat Saban then we better start working on it again!!!
