Hard for college players to come back their final year and pass up the opportunity to get highly drafted and make a lot of money. I just hope our potential high draft picks are not taking plays off in fear of getting injured for the draft. I know there are talks about compensating student athletes, but it won't nearly be enough money to stop these players from entering the draft. We all have to realize that we are young and inexperienced and that we lost a huge amount of talent to the NFL last year. How can you expect these younger guys to just step on the field and perform just like the NFL caliber player they just replaced? Teams that are not as talented as LSU, would of got beat a lot worst than just a field goal to Ole Miss. The future is bright and I personally see a lot of younger guys on that field playing their butt off and getting better each week. Just remember, if all our underclassmen decided to play one more year, we would not be having this discussion. This team is young on defense and they gave us a chance to beat Ole Miss. Critical turnovers did us in on this one.

Its mainly our COACHING! Passing when we are running down their throats, prevent D at the end of all close games, clock mgt, etc etc

Then explain BAMA to me?? They have played Championship caliber ball for 5 years now and had little to any drop off when talent goes to the NFL. We are not the only program on the planet to lose talent each year.

"Having a chance" to beat Ole Miss should NEVER be an acceptable premise for LSU.

Never.

A team like LSU should not lose to Ole Miss' second string bra.

Championship teams skull frick opponents in games like this.

Very easy to explain Bama vs LSU. Saban hates losing way more than he loves winning. Hint- that killer instinct to physically beat up teams like ole miss, ark, miss st, and the other mediocre teams in the sec

Dude. Our problems aren't drop off. Our problems are constantly being unprepared, consistently playing down to our competition, never playing to our potential, and always losing our composure on crunch time.

Bama loses talent to the NFL as well. I get that. So are we only chasing one team in college football? Rather be in that position than just about any other. If I remember A&M lit up the scoreboard on them. So you telling me Bama does not go through the same funk as LSU? We also have a tough road schedule and play better teams out of the Sec East. As I recall, we are the only team that has success against them.

Why did all those defensive players leave for the nfl? Sure you will see some go every now and then but usually some stay in hopes of winning a title. I am thinking they were tired of being a championship caliber defense with an inept offense.

Well I hate to tell you all. Great players make great coaches. Ask Nick Saban why he lost on the road to UL Monroe? He didn't have the talent. Yea Miles should be doing a better job preparing gone kids I agree. Don't come on here and talk like Saban wins every game he coaches in. He also lost to a pathetic Akron team at home while coaching at LSU. Heard anything about Boise State lately? They lost talent to the NFL and are not in the headlines every week like they were. Go support Bama if you can't support what you got here.

Elite teams don't lose games like this, plain and simple.

Our defense has completely disappeared. I understand we lost a lot, but we are terrible on D right now.

It's pretty crazy.

No. just the one's that matter, and NEVER has his team unprepared twice in a season. Not anymore anyway.

Some coaches learn from past mistakes. Some never seem to learn.

The defense did not throw the 2 picks in the end zone. The defense is playing better. Young guys are growing up each week. Do you realize how hard it is to play in the toughest conference and perform right away as a freshman? Can you even name freshman at Bama carrying them this year? We're y'all really thinking this team was going undefeated? If we would be undefeated right now and only lose to Bama y'all would still be bitching about how badly we are coached. I'm realistic. I saw the huge amount if talent we lost. I did go into the season with hope of going 10-2, but that was a stretch.

Yeldon and Amari Cooper were true freshman last year. Ashawn Robinson is a freshman and leads BAMA in tackles for a loss. Jackson is a freshman and starts at cornerback. OJ Howard is having a great year at tight end. There's more but you get the point.

Saban lost to UL Monroe his first year at BAMA. It was also the first year in my lifetime that BAMA did not have 1 single player drafted so it's safe to say there was no talent in the cub bard. After that year name 1 embarrassing loss BAMA has had.
