The Georgia one was a complete joke. and the fact they CONFIRMED that it was helmet-helmet is pathetic.

Dave Pasch said it was a textbook example of the targeting rule. If that was a textbook example, the rule is way more fricking stupid than I previously thought.

Didn't say I like the rule, just that it was called correctly. I think a lot of people are dumping on refs for calling what is in the books. Granted they haven't helped their cause this year with some of the stupid calls that didn't fit the rule.

The rule is BS. The refs called it 100% correctly in the USC game. Didn't see the other 2.

This is what makes it worse. A stupid rule that is applied terribly by the refs (and sometimes even worse when upheld on review).
