So i live in shreveport and am heading to lafayette for a friends wedding. Looking to get my hands on some good stuff while down there. What is the best spot in town? Would love to get some brews not available to me in yankee town. Thanks in advance guys.

Phillipes wine cellar has the best selection of beer. I haven't been in 6 months or so but it was my go to spot for a year. I found things there that didn't make it to be on occasion. (Saw a bottle of Stille Nacht on one occasion)

Marcellos has the biggest selection but misses out on unique stuff philippe's gets.

If you head to philippe's and Marcellos you can skip ambassador wine and spirits.

Don't waste your time at Marcellos. Last 3 times I've been I've left empty handed because the selection is so poor and what I would like is dated over a year.

Phillipes is ok, but they also have a lot of dated things.

Only place I go now is Ambassador wine and spirits. They get good things and have great prices.

As others have said, ride down to broussard and fill a couple growlers. Best thing that's happened to the beer scene around here since I showed up.
