McNeese St. 31 Sam Houston 23 | Final

Should be a rocking atmosphere in Lake Charles this weekend.
Sam Houston is a very good football team, and is favored to win. Their only loss coming to A&M they've been rolling until a 14-3 win last week.
Their first and probably only big road test of the year, as the only game they've traveled for is A&M.
Verdict is still out on the Cowboys, despite having a high scoring offense and beating FBS USF, that offense was notably absent in the beating they took to FCS powerhouse UNI a couple of weeks ago, and barely squeaked out a win against Div. II West Alabama.
Winner should take the conference, but McNeese sometimes has consistency issues. Nicholls is to McNeese what Ole Miss is to LSU, always play it tough and close and pull the upset occasionally. Lamar is also an usually tough team for McNeese to put away.

I will be there. My nephew who is on the team also made it on the Homecoming court. Hope rain moves through so it would be a good game.

This should be a damn good game. Wish I could watch it. McNeese has been a bit puzzling this year. Sam Houston has been steady until last week. Maybe that game can be chalked up to the inclement weather they had to deal with. All I know is that Timothy Flanders needs to have a big game this week. I counting on him for my FCS fantasy team.
