The boiling point between Paul and Redick came in the summer of 2004 when both were counselors at the Jordan Brand Camp in Santa Barbara, Calif. During a scrimmage between the two, Redick became so irritated that he struck Paul.

quote:

Since joining the NBA, Paul and Redick never spoke over the past seven seasons. Last season, Paul missed three games after bumping knees with Redick during a 104-101 loss to the Orlando Magic on Jan. 12 that snapped a franchise-record 13-game home winning streak for the Clippers.

Redick said the last incident caused Paul to "harbor more animosity" toward him.

"I didn't like him either," Redick said.

quote:

The ice between Paul and Redick began to thaw from the initial phone call after they became teammates. They have since hung out together with their wives, who have also become close.

"We have actually had a chance to become real close, real quick," Paul said. "Who would have thought after the battles we had in college. But the one thing about him, he's a pro. Everyone in professional sports knows what that means."

Makes sense because JJ is a really nice guy. Whole family are good people.

Meanwhile, CP3 is a douche

I dont really see how an abortion contract makes him not a good guy. Pretty smart actually. Id do the same.

But I guess if you are a right wing conservative this offends you.

As for a DUI 7 years ago, thats just bad luck that he ran into a checkpoint. Its not like he got pulled over because it was affecting his driving. Id assume most people have driven at least once at some point in there lives after a few beers.

I'm a liberal. It's the details around the contract that make him a piece of shite.

quote:

In exchange for proof that she had gotten an abortion, Redick would have to "maintain a social and/or dating relationship" for one year. Otherwise, Redick would pay Lopez $25,000.

There are people who get pulled over for DUIs because they need to be pulled over, and then there are people that are fine and get fricked by checkpoints.

Imagine how angry JJ's poetry must have been after his feud.

I have a personal experience of Chris Paul being a douche.

Julius Hodge nut-punch aside.

Fake nice guy.
