Last time I checked you can still buy Arkansas tickets on the LSU website. It shouldn't be as bad with A&M but putting it Thursday will make it worse.

Of course tickets sold doesn't matter when it comes to TV revenue

For a big away game, once in a blue moon...I could tolerate it. For any home game...frick all that.

I'd take it ONLY as a season opener. At that point you've had 6 months to prepare so a short week isn't an issue and it gives you a couple of extra days to prepare for the next game. It's a complete waist in any other situation. Would also help if it was against a team from a power conference; no one is gonna watch us kill ULL on a Thursday night. Also, this is only okay if its a one time deal for the season.
