I'm thinking of offering a guy in my league. Biial Powell and Andre Johnson for Eddie Lacy and Hakeem Nicks. I'm getting Lacy and Nicks. Is this a decent trade? My rbs are Charles, randle, McFadden and Wrs are Wayne, Sanders, and Harvin

thats an outstanding trade for you, no way the guy does it unless he is just a total fool.

your getting the best 2 players in the trade, and lacy could be an absolute stud in the 2nd half of this season

If the giants trade nick, that trade could be considered "trade rape".

Nicks and Johnson at this moment are about even with Johnson having the advantage due to receptions. I don't really know much about Nicks being traded or what situation he might go to if traded.

Lacy is a LOT better than Powel. It isn't as bad as hinted at earlier, but it is still a bad trade for the Lacy owner and one that I wouldn't accept if him.

Yea I figured it was a better trade for me. I forgot that lacy missed a couple weeks and that's why his season totals are down. He just picked up Rueben Randle and Kennan Allen on waivers so I feel like he might give up Nicks. What about if I switch McFadden and Powell out? He also has rice, Ridley, and pierce.

It looks like Nicks is going to be traded before the dealine Oct 29th. It depends where nicks ends up really.

Johnson > Nicks at the moment.

Lacy is getting better and is a far better option than powell.

If you are making this trade with getting lacy back then you are going to have to lower what you are requesting at wr by a lot. If you are trying to get Nicks then you have to lower what you are requesting at rb.

Maybe:

Johnson/Powell for Nicks/Pierce (not a good trade for you but one he might accept)

Not sure how to balance the other trade without seeing full rosters.

This is terrible and almost LoL!

WR1 for a WR2
RB2 for a Non starting RB.

No one would make this trade. At least i hope not. If so, i want to be in that league.

I know this is not the trade on the table, but peeps will laugh if you would try something like this.

He is a Powell and Johnson. Given the information I had, I was just showing him a trade that would be accepted. The other one he was thinking about wouldn't about was too unbalanced the other way. I said it would be a bad trade for him. Learn to read good.

It's hard to read what you are typing.

Yes I know he has Powell and Johnson. You suggested he trade these for Nicks/Pierce, which is laughable. No way anyone makes this trade!

This $hit is hard to read!

I think you should sit tight at the moment.

You aren't going to get Lacy and Nicks for Johnson and Powell.

You would have to replace McFadden for powell.

I would sit tight with McFadden and see how he performs after the bye.

I see you are in a pickle with the Mcfadden bye week and are trying to make a deal.

Powell is a decent play this week. He'll get more touches now that goodson is out. Hopefully he can continue to get the bulk of the work over ivory. (Which has been the case)

Ahh I see. Somebody got you in a buy low situation with Trich.

Who was your TE before the trade?

You should have traded Wayne or Johnson before nelson.

Interesting on who your TE was before the trade.

You should have stuck with Trich and Nelson bro now you dont have a WR3 to play.

Charles and Trich
Nelson, Wayne, Johnson
Thats Nasty!

I wasn't happy with Richardson. Thought the trade to the colts would change things. My tight ends were Rudolph and Fleener. I think I upgraded with Thomas. I thought it was a fair trade. That lineup might be nasty on paper but it ain't producing. I'm 3-3. Richardson isn't putting up that many points. Johnson always has injury issues and now a qb who is hurt. I picked up Harvin for later in the season.
Edit: And he wanted Nelson. Wasn't going to take anyone else

Understandable but McFadden is not an upgrade over Trich IMO

You did upgrade here but you took a hit at WR

It is.

Just giving you some options.

While overall you upgraded at TE, You downgraded at RB and WR and now you are on the trade market again for RB and WR.

While I know you are thinking of trading Johnson. He has the most receptions At the WR position right now.

You could maybe try and swing a trade like Johnson/mcfadden for fitz/bernard if you are looking for TD production. But I would stick with your guys.

I'm happy with my rbs. I just really want lacy. And the guy that has him is in the bottom half of the league so I think I might be able to get him to bite on a trade more favorable to me. I just picked up Randel for a spot start this week so I'll probably sit Powell. WR are slim pickens in my league cause we play 3. I didn't wanna give it Nelson but I think Sanders will be decent because I believe the steelers will start opening it up more. Then I'll will have Harvin in a week or two.

That's what I'm going to do. Even though A. Johnson has the most catches it doesn't help me because my league isn't PPR.
