Those frustrations include what’s considered as general disrespect from administration, not receiving all meals on road trips, taking a bus to distant locations like Kansas City and Indianapolis and the poor state of facilities like the weight room.

I remember basketball teams doing this not football teams.

A good program completely gone down the drain.

Grambling is the redemptorist of SWAC football.

Wow. Sounds like they need to seriously consider even having a football team. Sounds like West Monroe has a stronger program.

Seems like they could just play Arkansas, Texas, LA and Miss teams and then play a couple of rent a win games to some schools like ULM and Ark St. and they should stay in the black? Why do they need to travel so far?

sounds like they should consider even havng a university. No need for three public universities in the same sparsely populated area.

Part of it was due to the college higher ups not traveling of the team bus to Inn. and flying. They felt disrespected? Is it normal for the college administration to travel with the teams on buses?

SWAC teams plays "classics" throughout America which probably makes them more money than just playing at home. Grambling has 3 neutral site Classic games on schedule this year.

No argument here, but you know Grambling won't get the axe.

I guess they need to rethink those games if they can't even fly them there.

The article said Alcorn flew to Indy so it's just a Grambling problem. Should've gotten whoever was putting the game on to pay for the flight in the contract.

That's funny. Apparently they've been on strike all year because they havent shown up on game day all season
