Prized defensive end recruit Robert Nkemdiche has a pulled hamstring and is expected to miss the next three games, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said. Other injured players include linebacker Serderius Bryant, the team's leading tackler, defensive tackle Issac Gross, cornerback Mike Hilton, safety Chief Brown and backup quarterback Barry Brunetti. Look at it this way, they were gonna lose anyway. Why not have a bunch of injuries to refer to for excuses as to why they loss? Pisses me off to tell you the truth. Their younger guys can just go out there and get experience under their belt without any pressure. I believe they will be tougher now than they would have been before because of that. Makes no difference. At the end of the day, LSU will be 7-1.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the OP started yet another thread with a link to a nola.com article. Seems that's all he does.

my old brain just won't process this. any way you could explain your point? if you are saying that less pressure is good, i disagree as i think you improve better with pressure. but i damn sure don't know if that's what you're saying.

nothing changes here other than that we will more likely see Jennings throwing passes a week earlier.

As I said back in January, enjoy 2-3 years of 7-5 maybe 8-4 mediocrity before heading off to play on Sundays. Has to play at Ole Miss probably 30% more than if he were at LSU due to lack of depth which wears on a player thoughout the game and increases chance of injury.

I mean that their back-ups won't be expected to play as well as the starters. Thus, allowing them to just go out and have fun. They have nothing to lose. That makes them dangerous, but not dangerous enough.

hate to hear this, but anyone in the league can beat anyone else on the right day...hope we pound their arse and don't let up until we are ahead by 50...at that point, we can start taking a knee...

A depleted DL against our OL and fullbacks, hate it for them. Maybe we will see Mr. Jennings get some snaps.
