Les Miles speaking, about anything, is something like an event.

People gather around. There’s a buildup. Les works the crowd, pacing himself until he finds the right time to deliver his quirky lines. You always come away entertained. You never leave feeling those minutes spent weren’t worth it. He really ought to charge.

It's a good read. He should've done his research on the flop thing. This was in reference to Russell Sheppard's career at LSU; Les was defending it, and him

Great Article!!

If I'm not thoroughly confused after hearing one of Les Miles's patented rant's, I'm thinking what the hell is wrong with me???

LM has this shite down to a fricking science.

I fully believe that Miles is purposefully fricking with people every time he's got a mic in front of him.

Yep, there is simply no other rational explanation.

I'm just shocked some people are just now realizing this.

Are these lessons really that hard to grasp from his rants?

Am I the only one who gets Les?

I commented so there would no longer be only 13 comments.
I hate the number 13

Great link. Thnx for posting.

Maybe people are finally seeing that Les is not some idiot who doesn't know how to speak. If you ask me, it all started as a way to give props to his old coach Bo and say the kinds of things that he might say. However it might have started, it has definitely taken on a personality that is all Les and no one else.

If anyone thinks that Les can't act just like stiffy Nicky then they are fooling themselves. Les is usually just having fun and enjoying the interviews and press conferences in his own way.

Also, he is getting better at it with time.

In his own way, the man is a genius. If i were a coach, i would want to be everything like him and nothing like bob stoops or urban meyer.

I love our coach!

The best part of number 7 (damn strong team presser about Michigan) is at the end someone asks the Chancellor if he is staying to answer questions and the Chancellor immediately understands there is no following Les at that minute. He simply says 'What he says" and walks out.

When i first read the subject line I thought Les might have some weird disease. Link was a good read. Maybe he should call it Lesisms.
