Not sure if it's been posted yet but was sent a nice article of an outside perspective at their 1st LSU home game.

Pretty complimentary assessment. His comments on Urban Blight of our downtown were interesting. Actually, downtown BR looks far better today than when I was at LSU in 77-81. Was atrocious then.

Yeah and with additions to parking and the stadium the experience should only get better. I like Cane's just as much as the next person but can't believe he'd eat there over tailgate jambalaya, grilled gator, etc.

I'm just impressed he was able to remember most of his tailgating day - the sooner the better I think for blurriness to set in.

Actually, he didn't specify ever being in "downtown" per se.

Also, of course, he ran into the ONE person tailgating on campus who perpetuates the "corndog" myth.

Apparently they didn't travel down Highland Rd south of campus.

Wish I could say the same about Florida. Gainesville is by far the worst place from top to bottom in the SEC. I can't describe how terrible it is.

From article:

I told my friend at the FL game that the upper deck fans must be able to touch the sun.

And I thought the FL game this year was one of the lesser atmospheres that I have been to in a while for a game as big as this one.

BRING BACK THE BAND WITH TR AND NECK AND LET THE STUDENTS BE STUDENTS. SHUT OFF THE PIPED IN MUSIC AND GET TIGER STADIUM ROCKING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

The article reminds of what CLM means about respecting your adversary. I liked it. Would that many can learn from it.
