Just casually watching the first few games that SF played this year, Eric Reid looks like he has pro bowl potential as a rookie. I think he might actually be better as a pro than he was when he was at LSU.

He benefits by having great players around him. He's pretty good tho.

doesn't everyone?

if you're able to just sit back and do your job and know the people around you are doing their jobs, you can play up to your full potential.

I've been really impressed by him in the few games that I've watched. That dude hits hard.

He's playing at a high level. Reid is a good fit on that D.

Seeing how well Reid is playing this year in the NFL and seeing how the LSU secondary was playing without Reid back there shows you just how good he was at LSU. You don't realize how important he was back there until he isn't back there anymore. A lot of deficient DB play last year was masked by Eric Reid picking up the slack.

Excellent. Great fit there. Reid and Vacarro are going to be good for a long time.

Yup. I was one of the tards who wasn't happy with his play last year. Now I realize how spoiled we all were by the 2011 and 2012 defenses

2nd for defensive rookie of the year behind honey badger. Both will have great careers.
